Andrew Crawley

Andrew is the son of Nathan and Anita Crawley of Morganton.  He has a younger brother Keegan, who is also a Cub Scout, and an older sister M-Lynne, who devotes many hours helping with pack activities.  Andrew is 10 yrs. old and is a rising 5th grader at Glen Alpine Elementary, where his father, grandmother and great-grandmother attended before him.  He is a second year Webelo and looks forward to the coming year in scouts.

After scouts, Andrew enjoys riding his bike, visiting the library, playing with race cars, watching TV (Jon & Kate Plus 8) and eating spaghetti and shrimp (lots of shrimp).  He enjoys anything to do with the beach and traveling to Virginia to visit his grandparents.

Despite being born 5 weeks premature, which resulted in his hearing impairment and having cerebral palsy, Andrew is determined to live life "just like every other 10 yr. old".   In fact, Andrew has excelled in the scouting program.

Andrew has earned the following scouting awards: Summertime Pack Activity Award, Emergency Preparedness Award, Leave No Trace Award, Whittling Chip,World Conservation Award and the Cub Scout Religious Award for completing the God and Me and God and Family series.  He needs only one more activity badge in order to earn the Arrow of Light, which is Cub Scouting's highest award.
